Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily drive assigned routes to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, bus areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing visitors, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to designated site contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
