Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver
About the role
As a Security Officer Overnight Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout your shift while supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, offices, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and employee movement, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured access points, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support access control, visitor processing, and after-hours building checks while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal post instructions.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
