Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver Overnights
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor customer and team member activity, observe for unusual behavior or potential hazards, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or concerns according to site protocols.
- Support access control and asset protection efforts by checking restricted areas, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or operational issues that could affect the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
