Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting that working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Complete assigned armed post duties in accordance with site expectations and Allied Universal guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- A law enforcement officer license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Qualifications
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
