Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Overnight in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every interaction while contributing to a caring and professional environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation efforts and reporting details to site leadership and/or public responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
- Serve in an armed post while maintaining professional conduct, completing required documentation, and following Allied Universal standards and location-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
