As an Armed Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused facility.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
