Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations
About the role
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Operations in Boonton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and key operational spaces associated with utility services.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, property damage, and/or disruptions to daily operations through visible presence and routine observation.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
