About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained security team supporting critical facilities, infrastructure, public venues requiring an enhanced presence, and personal protective services. You’ll receive training from our team of highly qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. This role is integral to the broad spectrum of specialized security services Inter-Con provides its clients daily.

Responsibilities

• Support critical facilities and infrastructure with a security presence.
• Provide security for public venues requiring enhanced protection.
• Deliver personal protective services as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
• Respond to emergencies and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all operations.
• Write detailed reports and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid security guard license and armed permit (as required by state/local regulations).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Firearms qualification and certification required.
• Prior armed security, law enforcement, military, or asset protection experience preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Basic proficiency with security technology and Microsoft Office applications.
