Armed Security Ambassador

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer with a preference for candidates who have law enforcement or military experience. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to anticipate risk, and strong physical stamina for patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

About the role

This is an on-call position based in Manhattan, NY.

Schedule

• Set schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay

• Competitive hourly wage of $40.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED (documentation required)
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• New York Security Guard License required
• Carry Concealed Permit

Qualifications

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred
