As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific access control procedures, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and security-related information to site leadership and appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
