Tampa Airport Area The Director of Sales is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and maximizing the overall sales performance of the hotel. This role develops and executes property-level sales strategies, builds and maintains key client relationships, and identifies new business opportunities across all market segments. The Director of Sales works closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven sales professional with strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as a proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts. This role reports to the Director of Operations and/or Regional Director of Sales and provides leadership and direction to the property-level team. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 Qualifications Hilton ExperienceProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in a hospitality environment.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build long-term client relationships.Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.Minimum 3 years of on-property hotel sales experience (Director-level or senior sales manager experience preferred).High school diploma or equivalent required. Responsibilities Portfolio LeadershipOversee sales performance across the property.Develop individualized commercial strategies for each hotel aligned with ARK standards and ownership goals.Partner with GMs and revenue management to maximize Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, RGI, ESOC, and negotiated segment growth.Lead weekly sales calls, performance reviews, and funnel management sessions.Direct Selling & Business DevelopmentActively source, negotiate, and close new business for assigned markets.Conduct sales blitzes, site tours, outside sales appointments, and community/Chamber networking.Target key extended-stay segments: construction, logistics, healthcare, government, relocation, manufacturing, and corporate negotiated accounts.Leverage tools such as ZoomInfo, Kalibri, STR, CoStar, and brand systems to identify demand opportunities.Build and manage key account relationships, expanding share across the portfolio.
