Area Supervisor

About the role

The Area Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing a specific area of the store and managing the general operations and supervision of the store. This position requires a deep understanding of safety protocols, customer service, merchandise handling, loss prevention, and front-end operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and maintain a clean work area
• Execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed
• Manage the front end operations, train and coach associates, and ensure productivity
• Supervise fitting rooms and ensure compliance with company policies
• Perform administrative duties as assigned by the store manager

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Special Skills

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs
• Physical requirements: able to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail or similar field preferred
• Knowledge of loss prevention and safety protocols
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Pay

$17.42 - $17.92 per hour

Schedule

Hours may vary depending on the store and position. Evening and weekend work is common.
