About Olipop

At OLIPOP, we’re on a mission to positively impact consumer health at scale through a new kind of soda: one that’s delicious, refreshing, and actually good for you. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Goodwin, transformed his own health by changing his diet and became passionate about the connection between nutrition and wellness. He created OLIPOP—a functional soda with 6 to 9 grams of fiber and 2 to 5 grams of sugar—to make consumer health accessible without sacrificing taste.

Since 2018, OLIPOP has reimagined soda as a force for good, fostering a culture grounded in empathy, integrity, and a belief in better for everyone. From ingredients to business practices, we’re committed to proving that business—and beverages—can bring people together while supporting health.

The Role

OLIPOP is searching for an Area Sales Manager to represent us in the Cleveland territory. This role focuses on building impactful relationships and driving sales in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive in dynamic settings, enjoy personal growth, and want to shape a growing brand, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on monthly volume and distribution goals in the Cleveland market.
  • Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers.
  • Conduct weekly “route rides” with DSD partners to identify opportunities for underperforming accounts.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure proper use of P.O.S. materials.
  • Follow through on commitments to distributor management, sales teams, and trade partners.
  • Provide documented reports on distribution, display, and sales performance to support distributor meetings.
  • Implement incentive programs to guide distributors in achieving sales objectives.
  • Manage chain retailers for new item launches and retail programs.
  • Secure additional placement within accounts, including secondary points of purchase and cooler placement.
  • Collaborate with field-marketing teams to create comprehensive marketing plans to increase market share.
  • Assist stores with packing out and merchandising (requires lifting multiple cases of product).
  • Occasional travel (roughly once per quarter) to support other markets and retailers.

Start Time & Field Expectations: This role requires an early start (7:00–8:00 AM local time), with most of the day spent visiting assigned store locations in the market.

Requirements

  • Deep passion for OLIPOP’s mission and products.
  • Hunger to make an impact and drive results.
  • Obsession with understanding customer behavior and consumer insights.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite; experience with Slack and Zoom preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Clean driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

This role requires travel within the market and occasional business travel. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager, Midwest.

Pay

$72,000–$80,000 base salary + bonus.

How We Work

OLIPOP is a fully remote team that prioritizes connection and collaboration. We’ve grown nationwide while maintaining a collaborative spirit through cross-functional projects, IRL offsites, and intentional communication (think Slack threads and spontaneous gifs). We move quickly but lead with trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to meaningful work.

We value thoughtful debate, feedback given with care, and growth through listening. At OLIPOP, it’s about more than getting things done—it’s about growing together and building something with lasting impact.

What We Value

  • Mission Connectivity: Everything we do supports human health, from product launches to clinical research.
  • Indomitable Spirit: We adapt quickly, stay curious, and find creative solutions—often with dedicated Slack threads and detailed decks.
  • Lead at Every Level: Leadership is about ownership, not titles. We speak up, follow through, and lift each other up.
  • Courageous Humility: We’re confident in our strengths but curious about what we don’t know. Feedback is given with care and received with grace.

What We’re Looking For

We seek people who:

  • Think big, move fast, and take thoughtful risks.
  • Thrive in high-performance, feedback-rich environments.
  • Value real human connection and honest collaboration.
  • Are energized by building something new and improving it daily.

If you’re excited by dynamic environments and eager to shape a meaningful brand, OLIPOP offers a unique opportunity.
