About the role
At the direction of the Vice President and Regional Director, you will drive and maintain revenue growth in your territory while supporting revenue generation and account management. Under the supervision of the Regional Director, you will identify, train, educate, and launch pain therapies in targeted accounts, ensuring deep understanding of patient selection and account support to drive adoption.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on physician targets and manage target pipelines through business planning, sales activity, training, and account launching.
- Drive the standard of care by integrating pain therapies into the treatment algorithm.
- Provide case coverage in the territory.
- Support physicians and their staff with technical product knowledge, assisting with presentations and coordinating corporate resources to facilitate target build and closure.
- Deliver product presentations, surgical techniques, and white papers in support of sales and corporate marketing campaigns.
- Understand product and clinical positioning, brand management, and strategy, ensuring these are reflected in oral presentations to physicians and distributors.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to stay abreast of market trends and communicate findings to corporate marketing.
- Maintain frequent and regular contact with the Regional Sales Director (RSD) and VP, collaborating proactively with Sales to ensure quality product support, training programs, and key physician and account management.
- Support Medical Training by assisting in the preparation and execution of physician training courses, including didactic and cadaver labs.
- Participate in strategic sales and marketing planning activities to identify key targets, physicians, and hospitals by specific product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Five or more years of relevant sales or technical sales support experience in biologics and/or medical devices, preferably in pain management.
- Proven track record of sales performance and professionalism.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and other media.
- Prior experience or ability to use Salesforce.com.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
Working conditions
Travel by air, train, and car is required.
