Area Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the day-to-day management of our hospice agency community liaisons, ensuring they're fully equipped and focused on engaging with our target accounts effectively.
• Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to our community liaisons, empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles and effectively manage accounts.
• Keep a pulse on sales metrics and KPIs by generating regular reports on visit frequency, referrals, and other key metrics for the region, helping us stay informed and agile in our approach.
• Aid in the recruitment process for open or new/growth community liaison positions, playing a key role in building a high-performing team that drives results.
• Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about market trends, competition, and best practices in sales techniques and strategies, ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
• Minimum four years of healthcare sales/community liaison experience, preferably in hospice
• Minimum of two-years management experience
• Demonstrated understanding of hospice regulations
• Demonstrated success in growing local or regional patient census
• Must be willing to travel and spend at least 70% of time in assigned markets
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Pay

$110,000 - $120,000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
