Area Manager - Ohio

About the role

ESCO, a division of Eurpac Services Inc., is seeking an Area Manager for the company's Cincinnati, Ohio market. The role involves managing, leading, and directing a team of Base Managers (BM’s) to ensure successful service and selling activities at Commissary facilities on military bases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current distribution and meet 30-day goal on new distribution
• Goal of less than 1% gaps in sales
• Attain all volume targets and exceed DeCA sales trends
• Adhere to approved budget
• Train and manage BMs to sell, schedule, and execute displays, promotions, demos, and new items
• Manage and train teams on use of IT tools at the shelf
• Experts in use of EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ software
• Manage independent contractors (stockers, demonstrators, etc.)
• Coordinate independent contractor payments with third party payment providers
• Prompt and accurate management of customer related accounting procedures
• Achieve call frequency objectives
• Communicate and report in a timely fashion utilizing the technology provided
• Manage and train teams on use of IT tools at the shelf
• Other projects/requests as needed or assigned by senior leadership

Requirements

Build, install and move various racks weighing up to 100 lbs. with the help of others
Build displays with up to 40lb case weight
Freezer work at 0°F
Travel for store resets which last from 1 to 3 days
Occasional outside case lot sales and weekend special events
Pass a driver’s background check
Military Base access required, must pass base required background check
Complete and maintain DD Form 3150 as required for installation and facility access

Qualifications

Existing military base access strongly preferred

Skills

Expertise in use of EAGLE Eye and Retail IQ software
