Area Manager

About the role

Lead with confidence as our Area Manager for Inventory Operations! Are you a people leader with a passion for driving efficiency and excellence? We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee and optimize inventory operations within our business.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership in a competitive, structured, energetic, and demanding work environment in a broad array of inventory events.
• Successfully plan, organize, coordinate, and lead a team of inventory professionals during inventory events.
• Drive customer service through achieving productivity, accuracy, length of inventory measurements, and maintaining strong professional standards and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Achieve solid in-event financial results through proper payroll management, expense control, and a focus on growing employee performance to increase production.
• Show strong people and team leadership skills with a proven track record of recruiting, hiring, training, and developing talent for future bench strength.
• Work varied, non-traditional hours, including early morning or late night shifts, as well as flexible schedules.
• Be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment drug screening, and/or MVR check.
• Have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or meet the Fleet driver requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a retail, inventory, or warehouse position, exhibiting professionalism, sense of urgency, soft skills, and the strong ability to work with others.

Pay

Starting at $50,000 - $55,000 per year.

Schedule

Frequent travel via automobile and air, along with the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts regularly.
