Area Manager

About the role

Winter Services, Wisconsin's leader in the snow removal industry, is seeking highly motivated individuals to work as an Area Manager out of the Kenosha/Racine branches.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all snow plowing and de-icing operations for an assigned area to ensure timely, high‑quality work.
• Report to the Operations Manager.
• Take training into the field to supervise and retain quality teammates.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted efficiently.
• Be on call and able to work anytime it snows, including long shifts.
• Provide strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a district of walk crews, truck drivers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
• Maintain knowledge of snow plowing & removal operations and the operation of skid steers, salt trucks, and other sidewalk‑clearing equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with commercial snow removal equipment.
• Possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a drug‑free background.
• Manage areas located in the Milwaukee region.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience preferred.
• Landscaping/construction and snow removal experience preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude with snow removal equipment.

Schedule

Availability to work from mid‑September through mid‑April is essential.
