The Car Park is a rapidly growing parking and transportation company that operates more than 500 locations within our portfolio across the United States. We are experts at meeting the unique needs of the markets we serve including hospitality, healthcare, events, municipalities, office, retail, and universities.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek new business opportunities while managing the full sales cycle, including cold leads, developing proformas, operating budgets, and collaborating on writing proposals.
- Search for and suggest RFPs to respond to, and assist in the transition for new locations.
- Develop a robust pipeline of potential new business contacts through cold calls, active online research, and on-the-ground research.
- Develop and retain client relationships, focusing on communication, exceeding client needs, and continuous improvement of operations, revenue controls, and service excellence.
- Advance new business relationships to expand the business in the region, identify new business leads, collaborate on proposals and presentations, build proformas, and manage client implementation.
- Develop goals and objectives for each account, fully understanding, communicating, and executing these by directing, coordinating, and delegating activities to the operational team.
- Provide full operational management oversight of all locations within the assigned region, with a focus split of roughly 70% business development and 30% operations.
- Train newly hired employees and Parking Enforcement Officers.
- Assist management in implementing operational initiatives and troubleshoot field issues, escalating concerns to upper management when appropriate.
- Maintain and care for all company-issued equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, management, or related field.
- Five years of related experience including supervisory experience.
- Parking industry experience.
