About the role
As an Area Manager at SIXT, you will lead and drive success by overseeing multiple branches and ensuring a first-class customer experience. Your responsibilities include collaborating with branch managers to ensure smooth operations, setting sales goals, managing financial tasks, leading and training your team, managing cost control, and focusing on increasing market penetration, revenue, and branch performance through strategic planning and regular staff communication.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with branch managers to ensure smooth operations, set sales goals, and maintain staffing, fleet, and marketing plans
- Manage financial tasks including reporting, billing, and analysis of financial statements
- Lead, train, coach, and conduct performance reviews for branch managers and staff to maintain a motivated and well-informed team environment
- Manage cost control, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to company standards and operational processes
- Focus on increasing market penetration, revenue, and branch performance through strategic planning and regular staff communication
Requirements
- You hold a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in sales or customer service, including 5-7 years operations management overseeing multiple branches; proven leadership skills to guide teams effectively
- You possess good supervisory skills, strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate in other languages (as a plus), and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- You are highly organized and have excellent customer service skills
Qualifications
- You must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future, and you are at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license with a clean record
- You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (20%)
Skills
- Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in sales or customer service, including 5-7 years operations management overseeing multiple branches; proven leadership skills to guide teams effectively
- Supervisory & Communication Skills: Good supervisory skills, strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate in other languages (as a plus), and exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Organization & Customer Service: Highly organized and excellent customer service skills
Pay
An attractive salary of at least $80,000 plus bonus is offered.
Schedule
You can work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and are open to travel (20%).
