Area Manager
About the role
The Area Manager at NAYA is responsible for overseeing multi-unit operations, leading and developing restaurant management teams and staff, ensuring superior service and product delivery, and driving financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise General Managers and assist with coaching, developing, and mentoring managers and team members
- Drive 4-wall EBITDA and elevate employee and guest experience through various channels
- Build a bench and implement succession planning and growth initiatives
- Create and maintain a positive, employee-focused and guest-focused organizational culture emphasizing continuous improvement, high performance, collaboration, teamwork, and process improvements
- Interview, hire, onboard, and train all restaurant positions
- Respond quickly to changing market conditions and revise strategies as needed
- Jump into hands-on execution within restaurants to address issues and staffing gaps
- Review P&L reports with General Managers, adjust targets based on business needs, and forecast and monitor expenses
- Ensure operations comply with all applicable regulations and laws
- Perform weekly payroll reviews for assigned stores
- Perform other related duties as required, assigned, and directed
Requirements
Qualifications include 7+ years of restaurant management/leadership operations experience, a bachelor’s degree or higher, strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and exceptional financial acumen. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.

A successful Area Manager must be a proven leader and operator, familiar with high-growth environments, skilled at managing a P&L, an excellent communicator, and adept at developing talent.
