Area Manager

Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and engage them during shifts to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time.

Our Operations workflow includes three major components: First mile (where products are housed), Middle mile (where orders are transported to your area), and Last mile (where products are delivered to customers). While workflows may vary slightly, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains constant.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to develop business plans
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor loading areas)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)

Requirements

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques

Pay

Base salary range: $70,000 – $90,900 USD annually (location: USA, NY, Amsterdam). Your total compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final amounts determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
