Area Manager
Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly workforce, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance while maintaining customer delivery expectations.
About the role
As an Area Manager, you will engage your team during shifts and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are delivered on time. Our operations workflow includes:
- First mile – where products are housed and ready for order
- Middle mile – where orders are transported to your area
- Last mile – when products are delivered to the customer’s door
While workflows may vary slightly by location, our commitment to customer satisfaction remains constant.
Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Collaborate with support teams (Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources) to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in environments with variable noise levels and temperatures (including outdoor loading areas)
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (where applicable)
Requirements
- 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
- Experience managing a team of 5+ employees
- Experience with process improvements
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

Pay
Base salary range: $65,200 – $75,000 USD annually (location: USA, FL, Davenport). Compensation package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final pay determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
