Area Manager

About the role

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC is seeking an Area Manager at its facility located at 15200 Don Julian Road, City of Industry, CA 91745 USA. This position is part of the manufacturing production/distribution function.

Responsibilities

• Manages manufacturing supervisors and provides support for Maintenance, Shipping & Receiving, and Processing Departments.
• Establishes and enforces company policies and actively participates in safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Determines proper daily pace for production and achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
• Collaborates with Inside Sales Team on customer support to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Focuses on daily operational activities to ensure timely deliveries within budget constraints.
• Sets and implements necessary controls to ensure quality products are delivered on schedule.
• Coordinates with Quality Assurance to understand customer needs to suppliers and coordinates project status information.
• Creates and optimizes opportunities for cost and lead-time reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity increases.
• Designs flow paths, balances lines with proper machine numbers, and planned WIP inventories to ensure constant flow.
• Develops standard work for labor and develops self and employees through seminars, professional meetings, and conferences.
• Projects a professional image to subordinates, peers, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of related manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three to five years' experience with supervisory responsibility in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Preferred fasteners experience.

• Knowledge of Manufacturing software.
• Knowledge of Project Management software.
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet software.
• Knowledge of Word Processing software.
• Advanced command of Power BI.
