Area General Manager

About the role

You will lead all aspects of hotel operations, driving performance, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. You’ll oversee departments, manage budgets, and implement strategies to achieve financial and service goals. Your leadership ensures a well-run property that delivers exceptional guest experiences and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the success of the hotel by overseeing all aspects of operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage staff, budgets, and the overall profitability and reputation of the hotel.
• Report to the Vice President of Operations.

Requirements

• A college degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of hotel general manager experience, required.
• Full-service Hilton and/or Marriott experience, highly preferred.
• Ability to lead sales and revenue for a high-performing hotel.
• Food and beverage background, highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
