Job Responsibilities

  • Provide a consistent presence within the facilities they oversee and identify areas of improvement.
  • Partner with Area General Manager to ensure ownership by all team members at each site.
  • Lead the integration of IPG EHS standards and expectations for sites' EHS professionals and site managers.
  • Participate on operational teams in areas such as operating plans, strategic planning, EHS&S initiatives, internal auditing, management systems, compliance initiatives, and governmental/regulatory reporting.
  • Supervise team of site-based EHS&S professionals both directly and indirectly across the region.
  • Assist with onboarding new EHS professionals and operational managers across the region, as needed.
  • Oversee incident investigations, development of corrective plans, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Advise and assist local management in implementing, managing, and auditing within the framework of an innovative EHS Management Systems in a manufacturing and construction setting.
  • Maintain and monitor region's EHS metrics and trends, compile reports, and share trends and corrective direction.
  • Drive environmental compliance across the region and support in operational sustainability project rollouts and implementations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Science, or Engineering related fields or relevant experience
  • 6+ Years in EHS and/or Manufacturing with EHS responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate seamless integration across various functional departments
  • Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations
  • Strong project and process management skills, with experience managing major projects and/or change initiatives
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively navigate and research regulatory agency and industry-related web content
  • Nationally recognized Safety and Health Certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH)
  • Experience managing a team of direct and/or indirect reports
