Area EHS&S Manager
About the role
The Area EHS&S Manager will be responsible for the occupational health, safety, environmental and sustainability management for five locations in Idaho and Utah.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide a consistent presence within the facilities they oversee and identify areas of improvement.
- Partner with Area General Manager to ensure ownership by all team members at each site.
- Lead site-based EHS professionals and site managers to integrate IPG EHS standards and expectations.
- Participate on operational teams for operating plans, strategic planning, EHS&S initiatives, internal auditing, management systems, compliance initiatives, and governmental/regulatory reporting.
- Supervise team of site-based EHS&S professionals.
- Assist with onboarding new EHS professionals and operational managers.
- Oversee incident investigations, corrective plan development, and follow-up actions.
- Advise and assist local management in implementing, managing, and auditing EHS Management Systems.
- Maintain EHS metrics and trends, compile reports, and drive safety culture shifts.
- Manage workers compensation, general liability, and automotive liability cases.
- Develop and implement best practices and learning culture across the region.
- Create and execute resource strategies in collaboration with the Regional EHSS Director.
- Ensure environmental compliance and support operational sustainability projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, Science, or Engineering-related fields or relevant experience.
- 6+ years in EHS and/or Manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate integration across functional departments.
- Expert knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910 regulations.
- Strong project and process management skills, including experience managing major projects and change initiatives.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Nationally recognized Safety and Health Certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH).
- Experience managing a team of direct and/or indirect reports.
