Area Director of Revenue
About the Role
Parable Hospitality is actively searching for an experienced Area Director of Revenue to join our team. The Area Director of Revenue will primarily be responsible for implementing and optimizing Revenue Management policies, procedures, and strategies to maximize profitability. Southern California-based candidates are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implements company policies, procedures, and programs, establishing controls to ensure compliance and distributing necessary reports to key personnel.
- Meets revenue goals for assigned properties, reviewing and analyzing weekly/monthly reports to monitor progress and make recommendations.
- Improves 30/60/90 forecast accuracy at all hotels.
- Collects and distributes Revenue Management reports, maintaining the Pacifica database of Revenue Strategy reports.
- Ensures mastery of all distribution systems at Pacifica properties.
- Maintains rate level integrity among BAR rates, discounts, and promotions.
- Develops and executes rate and promotional strategies.
- Monitors the competitive set to react to market conditions and exploit revenue opportunities.
- Performs regular audits of rates in all distribution systems for accuracy.
- Demonstrates leadership in Company initiatives related to Revenue Strategy.
- Creates detailed reports summarizing key performance indicators.
- Analyzes performance of key business segments and recommends optimizations.
- Develops action plans outlining department-specific goals.
- Trains team members on revenue management skills.
- Assists/supports the VP of Revenue Strategy, Regional Directors of Operations, and Property leadership teams in revenue strategy.
- Communicates regularly with the VP of Revenue Strategy on property performance, market trends, and areas of concern.
- Carries out the Pacifica Hotels Mission Statement.
- Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related assignments as directed by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- College Degree or equivalent hospitality experience.
- 5+ years of Revenue Management experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel as required for property support, meetings, trainings, and conferences.
Skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong presence and ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
Supervisory Responsibility
The Area Director of Revenue does not oversee direct staff but will provide direction and supervise projects with corporate and property staff as needed.
Working Conditions/Environment
Indoors in corporate offices, hotels, and various offices. Outside travel by automobile, bus, taxi, and plane. Outdoors at hotels, on sales trips, and attending functions inside and outside of California. Driving automobiles on roads and highways. Carrying promotional materials, including trade show booths and boxes of collateral and supplies.

Pay
$110,000 - $130,000
