About the role

The Architectural Services Project Manager plays a pivotal role in promoting professional door hardware specification services and managing project lifecycles from Schematic Design through Construction Administration. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, architecture, construction management, or door hardware consultancy. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while managing risk and quality control.
  • Affirmatively develop project scope of services and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility in door hardware solutions.
  • Promote Allegion brands and architectural services.
  • Procure project specification opportunities using industry knowledge and network.
  • Initiate architectural consulting agreements with firms through relationships and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with the local project sales team on specification projects and market meetings.
  • Maintain excellent industry/competitor product knowledge by reviewing and understanding market data of competitive activity.
  • Adapt to changes in the marketplace.
  • Maintain awareness of Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, architecture, construction management, or door hardware consultancy.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory (Chicago, IL).
  • Basic understanding of security systems integrations and electronic components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
  • Strong customer service focus.

Pay

The expected Total Compensation Range is $90,000 - $156,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Bonus eligible: Yes.
