Architectural Designer II

About the role

Studio AR&D Architects is a Los Angeles-based architecture firm dedicated to creating projects that are both poetic and meaningful. The firm offers a creative and collaborative work environment with a growing portfolio of work across high-end residential, hotel/hospitality, interior architecture, and landscape projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day project management
• Attend project/construction site visits
• Meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Collaborate with engineering and design consultants
• Create construction drawings for contractors and permit agencies
• Process project documentation at various jurisdictions and obtain necessary permits
• Compile project specifications
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects
• Support tasks required for project completion, such as running errands and maintaining office organization

Requirements

• Minimum 5-7 years' experience at an architecture firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong interest in modern and contemporary architecture
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high levels of detail and accuracy
• Reliable transportation for job site visits
• Ability to support project completion tasks, including document processing and permitting

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficiency in SketchUp and Enscape
