Responsibilities
- Develops, modifies, and reviews drawings ensuring the incorporation of design intent.
- Develops a growing understanding of the requirements to complete the project through all required phases of the project.
- Works on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks within established deadlines and budgets, and effectively utilizing resources to address project requirements.
- Interacts with clients and consultants, participates in project development, and presents ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Prepares, manages, and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details, as directed by others in the project team, following standards and archiving documents as appropriate.
- Prepares 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings and renderings.
- Compiles data and performs fundamental design computations.
- Performs product research and may assist Project Designers and Project Architects with materials selection and system research.
- Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
- Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
- Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Developing professional with experience designing small-to-mid-size architectural projects.
- Environmental accreditation desired.
- Proficient technical knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modeling and Revit.
- Sketching skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently and effectively.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities.
