Key Responsibilities
- Experience working with an architectural/engineering team in preparing documents for both new construction and renovations and preparing documents for building projects.
- Navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders, walking on soft or unpaved surfaces, accessing scaffolding and confined spaces, and maneuvering around obstacles such as pipes at ground level.
- Use public transportation to reach various job sites.
- Assist with Architectural Design work from concept design through construction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaboration.
- Prepare architectural drawings, utilize a strong knowledge of building technology; and/or supervise their execution for all phases of a project.
- Execute code analysis, material selections, and coordinate with specifications writer.
- Conduct site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes, and prepare design reports.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage and assist the work of lower-level architects who assist with projects.
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture and possess 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with BIM 360 / Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.
- Excellent design capabilities and strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with a strong capacity for generating technical details that are constructible.
- Progress towards Architectural licensure is very desirable.
Pay
$95,975.90 - $109,686.74
