About the role
Softchoice is a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that equips organizations to be agile and innovative, and for their people to be engaged, connected, and creative at work. We are seeking a talented Identity and Messaging Architect to join our Professional Services team.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange solutions that meet client requirements and timelines.
- Serve as the technical authority to lead Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange (on-premise and online), and migration management implementation projects.
- Work closely with co-workers, end-users, and vendor representatives on the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Quest On-Demand, and Bit Titan Migration Wiz toolsets.
- Mentor and develop Consultants, Engineers, and Technicians on the team, and provide guidance on their technical skills, as well as the soft skills required for their success.
- Function as a technical expert, with strong customer interaction skills, and the ability to advise on, implement, and manage complex solution and service deployments for clients.
- Take advantage of opportunities to pursue relevant certifications and training for Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Exchange, as well as vendor-specific training for solutions including Quest and Bit Titan.
- Support other individuals and teams at trade shows, events, and speaking engagements that specifically require your technical expertise.
- Be a role model for our values of personal growth, customer passion, taking care of others & owning the end result.
- Support a detailed, actionable Statement of Work with our architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Stay on top of new trends and technology updates.
- Continually fine-tune your delivery, adoption, and problem-solving skills along the way.
Requirements
- A Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
- 8+ years’ work experience in a client-facing professional services role, or 10 + years of related, progressively senior industry experience.
Qualifications
- Updated Certifications and training to include Active Directory, M365 Fundamentals, M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, Administering / Configuring Windows Server Hybrid (core and advanced), On-Demand Migration for M365 and Active Directory, and ITIL v4 Foundation.
Skills
- Strong technical understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, Quest On-Demand, and Bit Titan Migration Wiz toolsets.
- Proactive work ethic that puts responsiveness to customers first.
- Passion for building strong relationships with customers and driving great Customer Experience (CX).

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Texas & Illinois is $128,800 to $161,000 annually + 14% as target incentives. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Florida & Colorado is $122,360 to $152,950 annually + 14% as target incentives. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification.
Schedule
The role requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
