Aquatics - Pool Attendant Supervisor (2nd Shift)

About the role

This position will be responsible for supervising and providing a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for all guests by consistently monitoring pool and deck activity and enforcing safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assign personnel to positions, train new pool attendants, fill positions and assist with breaks if necessary
• Actively seek opportunities to provide excellent guest service and provide information beneficial to guest satisfaction by upselling resort facilities and services
• Prevent injuries and eliminate hazards, recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations and operate all slide towers in a safe manner
• Politely and consistently enforce all deck, pool and slide rules
• Clean and maintain decks, pools, tables, chairs and umbrellas
• Maintenance and cleaning duties assigned by your supervisor (e.g., towel light chemical cleaning, sweeping and trash pick-up)
• Perform safety inspections prior to and during operation
• Maintain CPR and rescue skills for internal and external testing
• Participate in scheduled in-service training on land and in water
• Keep certifications current
• Use personal protective equipment when dealing with potentially infectious bodily fluids
• Complete all reports legibly

Qualifications

• Effectively communicate in English for business and safety reasons
• Show competency in water - strong swimmer
• Certification of deep-water safety skills, first aid and CPR required (training may be given on site)
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Carries out any reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing
• Should have a minimum at least (3) months of pool attendant experience or equivalent
