Aquatics Lead / Coordinator

Position Purpose

Drive successful Swim business through excellence on the aquatics side of the business.

Essential Job Duties

• Hiring, Training and Developing People
• Training of SafeSplash Instructors: Facilitation of entire training program for Swim instructors including the curriculum and practical trainings
• Maintain the high standard of teaching requirements of SafeSplash Swim School
• Scheduling and management of Quarterly Review process, which includes management of the Peer-to-Peer program
• Critique employee performance and communicate feedback effectively
• Identify employee deficiencies and provide supplemental training
• Develop programs
• Evaluate customer progress continuously
• Make sure all customers are happy
• Ongoing Education: Development and communication of ongoing education material to instructors
• Poolroom and Equipment Room Management: Management of all poolroom and equipment room operations including ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and chemical usage
• Frontline Technical Support: Responsible for all technology involved with lessons
• Staff Culture: Development and continuation of positive work environment for all staff that maintains exceptional lesson quality and outstanding customer service
• Work closely with SwimLabs Operations Manager on many business related duties including, but not limited to:

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Coached for a minimum of 2 years
• Effective communication skills
• Passionate about swimming
• Background in swimming
• Undergraduate degree preferred
