About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our Global Commercial Operations team. In this role, you'll be a key partner to our North American Sales organization, helping ensure a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and customers. As the primary point of contact for sales support activities, you'll manage quote preparation and approval workflows, maintain CRM data accuracy, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and support the quote-to-order process. This highly collaborative, execution-focused role follows established processes and workflows while requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for seller requests related to quotes, order support, CRM updates, and general sales operations.
- Prepare, validate, and route quotes for approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pricing, terms, and business processes.
- Maintain CRM data and support opportunity and account management activities.
- Coordinate with teams including Order Management, Finance, Legal, and Customer Support to ensure requests are handled efficiently.
- Support administrative activities across the quote-to-order lifecycle, including documentation, approvals, and tracking.
- Respond to routine seller inquiries and escalate non-standard issues or commercial risks when appropriate.
- Assist with RFP/RFI coordination and other sales support activities as needed.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer support, commercial operations, or administrative roles supporting sales teams.
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and Oracle preferred); exposure to AI-powered tools is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and thrive in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Pay
Canada: The compensation range for this role is $17 - $25 CAD per hour.
US: The compensation range for this role is $28.00 - $32.00 USD per hour.
