Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts of the repair station manual.
- Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.
- Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer’s manuals.
- Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed.
- Provides other duties as needed and assigned.
Requirements
- 36-150 APU Series experience preferred.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum four years of actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul, testing of APU.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklifts, etc.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and with customers.
- Must be able to read dials/gauges, and identify small objects and hand tools.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
