About the role

The APRN is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for managing and coordinating healthcare for their assigned patient population, following State and Federal regulations and nursing standards of care. Their duties include assessing health status, diagnosing, developing care plans, implementing treatments, and evaluating patient progress, often collaborating with other healthcare team members.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Current licensure with prescriptive authority.
  • Certification in the relevant specialty area.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by the department.
  • Strong computer skills.

Schedule

  • 40 hours bi-weekly
  • Work hours from 8 am to 5 pm
  • Variable call coverage on weekends (Sat-Sun, 8 am – 8 pm)
