Applied Engineering Lead

About the role

The Applied Engineering Lead will oversee the development and implementation of AI tools within the Academics division. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles and a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development of AI tools that enhance academic research and teaching processes.
• Collaborate with researchers and educators to identify and implement innovative solutions using AI technologies.
• Lead a team of engineers and data scientists to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of existing AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for AI initiatives.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an engineering or technology company.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of engineers and data scientists.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including familiarity with relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
