Applications Programmer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Applications Programmer with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to support and enhance our digital engagement platforms. This role focuses on building automated customer journeys, managing SMS communications, and ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.

About the role

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining applications within SFMC to improve customer engagement and streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications within SFMC
• Implement automated customer journeys and workflows
• Manage and optimize SMS communication campaigns
• Ensure seamless integration with internal systems and third-party tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in SFMC
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with API integrations and web services
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and its ecosystem
• Experience with data modeling and database design
• Understanding of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience with API integrations and web services
• Good understanding of cloud-based technologies and infrastructure
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
