About the role

Analyzes, documents, designs, and programs Clinical Information System applications, providing enhancements and maintaining current applications to meet the needs of clinicians in providing quality, cost-effective care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Require Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business or clinical area or equivalent in clinical field, informatics, or healthcare. Will take experience in lieu of degree.
  • Licenses/Certifications: License/certification in clinical field of expertise required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated competencies in Oracle Cerner training or equivalent business or clinical application training, including Fundamental knowledge of how to configure Millennium applications in Bedrock, CCL Reporting knowledge, Basic tables and files maintenance, Web page development, Advanced coding, Customer Service skills, and Basic understanding of how to configure Athena Patient Accounting applications.
  • Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a stressful work environment, knowledge of current standards, legislation, practices, delivery systems, documentation methods, and trends in medicine.
