Applications Analyst

About the role

Abound Credit Union is seeking an Applications Analyst to support the lending software applications environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data processing and applications system operations, with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with team members to identify problems with software applications and processes and serves as a change agent for the business units.
• Delivers increasing levels of stability, performance, and scalability while improving the overall user experience throughout the application lifespan.
• Provides daily operational support to team members, listens for opportunities to make the credit union more efficient, and collaborates with team members on process improvement.
• Provide enterprise-level support. Works with 3rd party related products, services, and vendors to facilitate support and services. Act as an escalation point for issues and works with vendors to maintain high-availability and user experience for these applications and relationships.
• Coordinates notifications and alerts around application outages, maintenance, and issues as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of data processing and applications system operations.
• Strong troubleshooting / analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to support others on your team.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Experience with software applications and systems.
• Experience with vendor management and service level agreements.
• Experience with enterprise-level support and coordination of notifications and alerts.
