Typical Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Serve as a point of contact for internal users needing help with our Viewpoint Vista ERP system and related applications to triage and resolve common application issues.
- Set up and manage users, roles, and security in line-of-business applications.
- Support the Application Development team on Crystal Reports, Power BI, SQL, and integration projects as skills develop.
- Create and update user guides, SOPs, and training materials to support end users across departments (Accounting, HR, Payroll, Project Management).
- Affiliate with monitoring and troubleshooting integrations between Vista and third-party systems (e.g., HCSS, Tenna).
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel (formulas, data manipulation).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with appropriate guidance.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Viewpoint Vista, Trimble Construction One, or another ERP system.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Crystal Reports, or SSRS.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Interest in growing into a Application/Data Analyst career path.
