Application Engineering Manager - North America Power Distribution

About the role

Lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within the Energy & Utilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the application engineering team for power distribution
• Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries regarding power distribution products
• Participate in major quotes and bids with key customers
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for product optimizations
• Generate corrective action reports for quality concerns
• Engage in critical SRM meetings and customer scorecard reviews
• Work with R&D to innovate new products and cost-saving solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical)
• 5+ years of Engineering experience, preferably in Wire and Cable
• Strong engineering knowledge
• Proficient computer skills, especially in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated LEAN thinking for process optimization

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
