What You Will Be Doing
- Create impact by bridging the gap between customer needs and engineered solutions, ensuring every project is technically sound, competitively priced, and delivered on time.
- Review product specifications to determine technical requirements including equipment selection, sizing, costing, and pricing development.
- Cook up with direct suppliers on pricing, delivery timelines, and technical information to support accurate proposals.
- Provide detailed documentation to Project Management covering pricing, delivery schedules, design information, and specification exceptions.
- Conduct post-fulfillment project reviews to identify causes of margin erosion and implement improvements.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs while aligning with departmental procedures and Grundfos values.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- A detail-oriented technical professional with strong communication skills, an advanced understanding of pumps and rotating equipment, and a high sense of urgency to meet customer commitments.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with equivalent technical sales and manufacturing experience.
- Advanced understanding of pumps, construction, hydraulics, and application of rotating equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (or similar drafting tools), SAP, and CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in engineering, project management, or sales within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing technical proposals or quotations for engineered-to-order products.
- Familiarity with industrial pump standards and specifications (e.g., API, ANSI/HI).
Pay
The salary range for this position is $58,400 to $87,325. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
