Application Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of application solutions for Honeywell products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Develop and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work collaboratively in teams, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to changing technologies.
• Knowledge of industry-standard engineering tools and software relevant to application engineering.
• Relevant experience or internships in application engineering or related technical support roles.
• Basic understanding of Honeywell products and solutions with a willingness to learn and grow technical expertise.

About the Role

This role reports directly to the Application Engineering Supervisor and works out of the Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. New hires must be prepared to work onsite 100% M-F for the first 90 days, subject to change based on business needs.

Business Unit

The role is dedicated to the IGS business unit, which is part of the Honeywell Industrial Automation segment. This unit enables process industry operations, creates world-class sensor technologies, automates supply chains, makes warehouses smarter, and improves worker safety. The unit also supports the future sale of the IGS business to American Industrial Partners ("AIP").
