Application Engineer - Automation

About the role

Help customers apply SEL power system automation products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telephone contacts. Contribute to product specifications, applications, and testing software and literature.

Position is based at SEL’s Hawthorn Woods field office with occasional short-term travel to customer sites. Candidates must be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis. Regular on-site work at the Hawthorn Woods office is required; remote work is not permitted apart from required business travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with SEL power system automation products via on-site visits, product demonstrations, and training courses
• Provide technical support through telephone contacts
• Contribute to product specifications, applications, and testing software
• Develop and review technical literature

Pay

$98,700 – $104,700 per year
