Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA control systems for various client applications.
- Execute system integration tasks, including hardware configuration, software programming, and testing.
- Collaborate with clients to define functional requirements and prepare detailed control system documentation.
- Create electrical schematics, I/O lists, and network architecture diagrams.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
- Support on-site installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Integrate robotics, motion control, and vision systems into manufacturing processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical, process, and IT colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure systems comply with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Provide ongoing technical support, training, and comprehensive documentation for clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Automation Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering, controls, or systems integration.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, and OPC.
- Additional familiarity with robotics, motion control, and vision systems is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret and design electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for on-site commissioning and client support.
- Certifications such as ISA CAP, Rockwell, Siemens, or GE are a plus.
