Application Architect III

Location: Jacksonville, FL

About the role

Create technical designs for architecturally significant business and technical changes within the DevEx portfolio. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure implementation aligns with design standards and best practices. Evaluate vendor and in-house solutions against architecture standards and technical requirements. Manage the value stream architecture runway and technical debt backlog with input from key stakeholders. Partner with peer Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to develop cohesive architecture approaches and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing solutions across diverse software development platforms including Linux, Windows, Java, .Net, Python, and JavaScript
• Technical expertise with DevOps automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, Git, and SonarQube
• Proven experience with complex, high-volume applications ensuring resiliency and performance
• Knowledge of security protocols including AAA, OAuth, OIDC, and encryption techniques
• Ability to perform hands-on proof of concept work to assess new technologies and patterns
