Application Architect III
About the role
This position is for an Application Architect who will drive end-to-end solution architecture and requirements discovery for strategic initiatives. The role involves translating business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into scalable technology solutions. The architect will partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define solution direction and ensure successful implementation across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end solution architecture and requirements discovery for strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate current-state processes and systems, define future-state capabilities, and document solution designs.
- Translate business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers, and delivery teams to define solution direction and create target-state designs.
- Analyze impacts and ensure successful implementation across Capital Markets, Treasury, Funding, Liquidity, and Regulatory platforms.
- Support the interest rate remediation program (IRR).
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies and build strong stakeholder relationships to drive consensus.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Application Architecture, or Application Development.
- 5+ years of experience working with clients or stakeholder groups to solve problems and design solutions.
- Experience delivering solutions for Capital Markets.
- Experience working in an agile software development team.
Qualifications
- CFA or FRM certification.
